Review
Once the plan is written, the group meets every two weeks to review. The agenda of the review meeting is as follows:
1. Go through the plan to check whether things have been implemented with fidelity. 2. Look at the data to determine whether the behavior is improving, staying the same, or getting worse. There are guiding questions at each of these levels to consider. 3. Determine if there are things that need changing in the plan. If the changes are minor, make them and update the action plan. If the changes are major, schedule another meeting. 4. Briefly summarize on the Review-At-A-Glance form. This allows you to more easily track what his happening. This meeting should take 45 minutes the first time and then 30 minutes subsequently.

When an unexpectedly intense or unusual behavior episode happens, it is important to try to understand what may have gone wrong with the behavior support plan. (If you do not have a behavior support plan, then understanding what happened may help you begin a functional behavior assessment (FBA) and develop a behavior support plan.) The document to the right (REFLECT) may help the team process the incident more effectively.
